For Authors

The UC Davis Law Review Online is ranked 18th among online law reviews. We welcome short, timely submissions, including essays, responses, replies, and book reviews. We only consider submissions under 15,000 words.

Please note that we do not accept submissions from J.D. candidates at other law schools or from UC Davis students who are not currently on Law Review. (This does not apply to co-authors with non-students.)

Footnotes should conform to the The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (21st ed. 2020). All submissions should be in either MS Word or Adobe PDF format and should include a table of contents. Authors must provide a curriculum vitae and a cover letter.
